When you have an ingredient, such as gold, that has been used throughout history for its skin healing powers and further what it can do through other ingredients and modern technology, you have a formula that takes gold-based skin care to a new level like the GLO24K line. First off, the GLO24K line is one that treats your skin with upmost respect without resorting to parabens, animal testing or farming their manufacturing out of the country. To maintain quality standards, all the products are manufactured in the United States and include some other notable anti-aging ingredients like two different forms of marine botanicals, hyaluronic acid, retinol, coconut oil, vitamin E, aloe, and other botanicals to name just a few.
Seaweed is one of my favorite ingredients to find in anti-aging products. The GLO24K gold night cream has two forms with laminaria angustata extract (brown seaweed) and alaria esculenta extract, (a brown algae). It has incorporated amazing amino acids, vitamins and minerals to repair skin cells while calming inflammation. It has a component called fuciodan that has been researched and shown to be help shrink tumors, which demonstrates its power for healing.
Hyaluronic acid can seriously boost moisture by drawing it from the environment to benefit the skin.
Retinol is another great help to gain a younger appearance. It helps anti-aging by firming, toning and smoothing the surface while guarding against free radicals.
Coconut oil with its lauric acid offers skin intense moisture as well as antimicrobial and antiviral properties.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a wonderful antioxidant that helps also protect from environmental stresses.
Aloe barbadensis leaf extract is also fantastic for skin with all its antioxidants, enzymes and anti-inflammatory properties for healing and exfoliating as well as to moisturize, heal and renew the skin.
Of course, there are other great soothing oils such as sunflower oil, safflower oil, lavender oil, etc. to help with lubricating the skin. At the same time, there are two questionable ingredients of polyacrylate 13 and polyisobutane, which may give some people reason for concern. I advise doing your research and decide for yourself.
This GLO24K gold night cream is richly textured and babies the complexion with its moisture. When I used it at nights, I always noticed waking up with more soft and supple skin that had more radiance to it. The longer that I kept using it, the more fine lines seemed less noticeable from how this product plumped the skin. My two deeper wrinkles by my cheeks improved less, but didn’t look as pronounced as before I started.
